One in five women think their man is high maintenance, and here are a few signs for you to know if you should be one of them.

He has a fit when he doesn’t get his way- It’s childish and we all do it, but we don’t expect it from a grown man.

He needs a reply to a text message or email right away- If he trusts you then this seems a little excessive.

He needs to be told ‘I love you’ several times a day- Too many times and it might become like the boy who cried wolf and it doesn’t actually mean anything anymore.

He’s always late- Because he has been playing with his hair or deciding what to wear.

He spends longer in the bathroom than you do- What do they need to do other than shower and shave their face? Really?!

He spends a lot of time on his looks and appearance- If he is worried about being prettier than you it might be time to call it a day!

He won’t wear anything which isn’t branded or designer- So you’re broke after buying him one article of clothing as a Christmas or birthday gift.

He needs his calls answered within a certain number of rings- Then he starts to ask you what you’re doing or where you are.

Always worrying about how he looks- People don’t care as much as you think they do.

He refuses to go camping- There is no way to straighten his hair, or get a proper shower and shave- the world might end!

He refuses to use public transportation- It’s always crammed and smelly.

He won’t step outside the house without his hair being styled- The neighbors might talk.

He needs a certain number of kisses on the end of a text or email- We all know that one is too few and too many means you are overbearing.

He refuses to walk anywhere- What if he steps in dog dirt, or damages his new shoes? Oh the potential drama!

He needs his home to be spotless- Your drinks are emptied in the sink before you have finished them and your just opened maill has been filed away before you even read it!

He constantly looks at himself in the mirror- No your appearance has not changed in the last fifteen minutes!

He will only eat out at ‘nice’ restaurants- Gone are the days of slumming it with a bag of chips.

He doesn’t like to get dirty- So no holidays in the countryside or any alfresco romance.

He will only stay in 4 or 5 star hotels- So a surprise weekend away bankrupts you until next payday.

He’s not likely to get sweaty- It’s natural to get sweaty when you do exercise or if its hot outside.

He will only drink bottled water- Which is tap water in a fancy glass!

He changes outfits several times a day- For who? Me? I go from work clothes to pjs- so really not bothered!

He needs to have a present bought for him at least once a week- What happened to sex being a good enough gift?

He’s constantly pouting- You start to think his face won’t ever go back to normal.

He will only drink fine wine- So a cheap and cheerful night out on the town has now turned into a pretentious wine club.
