81 Percent of Parents Steal Their Kids Easter Candy

Posted Friday, April 18th 2014 @ 8am

A whopping 81 percent of parents will be swiping candy from their kids' Easter stash this weekend, according to a nationwide survey by the National Confectioners Association. The best-sellers that make it into a child's Easter basket (and perhaps into their parents' stomachs)? Chocolate bunnies, followed by Peeps and jellybeans. And in case you're curious, most Americans even have a favorite way to eat a chocolate bunny: 76 percent of people bite off the ears first, five percent go straight for the feet and four percent go for the tail.
