A Massachusetts woman ended up in handcuffs for ignoring warnings to get her dog’s license renewed.

The woman got a knock at the door after putting her kids to bed and was greeted by two cops who told her they had a warrant for her arrest.  The warrant was from the town she had previously lived in. The town sent the woman 5 notices but she claimed to not get any of them.

Animal control said they issue about 70 criminal complaints per year but most don’t end in warrants.
