(Chicago, IL)  --  Some of the passengers of an Asiana Airlines jet that crash-landed at San Francisco International Airport last month are taking steps to sue both the airline and Boeing.  The "Los Angeles Times" reports a Chicago-based law firm has filed a petition for discovery on behalf of 83 survivors of the mishap that killed three people and injured more than 180 others.  The Ribbeck Law is requesting that Boeing produce documents related to design, manufacturing, and maintenance records of the model 777 jet that crashed.  The law firm says there may have been problems with the plane's auto-throttle, evacuation chutes that improperly inflated, and seat belts that aggravated passenger injuries.
