The bottom three contestants this week on 'American Idol' were Majesty Rose, Ben Briley, and Sam Woolf.

The first one sent back to the lounge was Sam. It was then revealed that Ben received the lowest amount of votes. The judges decided not to use their one save of the season and he ended up going home.

Thursday's results show also featured performances from gospel-influenced hip-hop act Mali Music, who sang "Beautiful", and judge Harry Connick Jr., who did a medley of his songs "One Fine Thing" and "Come by Me".

Next week, Idol's remaining Top 10 will take on songs from the Billboard Top 10 charts.
