DogTV, the 2 year old television network for dogs, asked Fun.'s Andrew Dost to write some music for them.

The result was about 4 minutes of harp, piano, and repetitive electronic undertones and made its debut this week during a relaxation segment.

Dost said he wrote the music differently for dogs rather than human ears with a range of frequencies tailored to a dog's sense of hearing. The music accompanies a video that is designed to reduce stress in dogs that are home alone.

Dost is donating his pay to a shelter in his hometown of Detroit called A Rejoyceful Animal Rescue.
