Madonna has been named the highest-paid woman in music in 2013 by Forbes.

She was estimated to have earned $125 million during the past year, making her not only the highest-paid woman in music, but the highest-paid musician overall.

A majority of her cash come from the success of her "MDNA World Tour," which grossed $305 million.

Lady Gaga was second on the list with $80 million, after her "Born This Way Ball" world tour made $168 million.

Taylor Swift came in at is at three with $55 million after selling 1.2 million copies of her "Red" album in the US alone. Beyoncé was fourth with $53 million.

Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj were both tenth on the list with $29 million.
