Andy Sambergs’ musical group the Lonely Island are headed to the big screen for a movie produced by Judd Apatow. Variety reports that Samberg, along with his buddies Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone, will star in a movie that takes place somewhere “in the world of music.” The as-yet-untitled movie will also be written by the trio and will be funded through Universal Studios. Apatow previously served as producer on films including Bridesmaids and 40-Year-Old Virgin.
