The Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona's HungerWalk 2019 is Saturday, September 14 at Kino Sports Complex in Tucson.
Mark your calendars for this fun, family-friendly event. Together, we can raise awareness of the issue of hunger in our community, and take action toward our vision of a healthy hunger free future for southern Arizona.
HungerWalk is the Community Food Bank’s signature event—an annual opportunity to bring together like-minded community members to raise funds and awareness for the fight against hunger. HungerWalk is a fun, family-oriented event for walkers of all ages, and features music, entertainment, healthy snacks, games, activities, and more. The 1.5-mile walk through the Community Food Bank’s food pantry, main warehouse, and gardens, to give walkers a behind-the-scenes look at the work we’re doing to end hunger.
Walkers learn about hunger, the Community Food Bank’s programs and services, and how they can get involved with our work—all while having fun with family and friends.
