Lerner and Rowe Injury Attorneys announced that its Tucson law office will be handing out 1,500 frozen turkeys, plus a drawstring bag stuffed with side fixings, at the Roy Drachman Clubhouse - Boys and Girls Club Tucson on Friday, November 22, 2019 from 4:30 p.m - 6:30 p.m. Other highlights include festive cookies, musical vibes, bottled water, and fun! Turkeys will be given away on a first come, first served basis and only one per family.
According to a 2018 survey conducted by the American Farm Bureau Federation, the average cost of a Thanksgiving Day dinner for 10 with classic food items equated to $48.90. That cost took into account having enough food for leftovers. Classic dinner food items included turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes, rolls with butter, peas, cranberries, a veggie tray, pumpkin pie with whipped cream, and coffee and milk.
By adding a 4-pound bone-in ham, 5 pounds of Russet potatoes, and 1-pound of frozen green beans to a classic Thanksgiving Day dinner, the overall cost for 10 increased to just under $62.00. -more- Attorney Kevin Rowe shares the following reasons for why the law firm gives back:
