This September, Tucson-area restaurants come together for the first annual Sonoran Restaurant Week: A Celebration of Tucson City of Gastronomy. From September 6-15, locals and visitors alike can savor special 3-course meals from a variety of participating restaurants at discounted prices. Sonoran Restaurant Week, sponsored by Visit Tucson, hopes the event will shine a spotlight on the vast array of unique dining experiences in Southern Arizona.
More than 30 restaurants plan to take part in Sonoran Restaurant Week and will participate in creating $25 or $35 prix fixe menus for diners to enjoy. Guests can visit their favorite restaurants or discover new places — all while supporting mostly small, local businesses. In addition to the prix fixe options, guests can explore more than 20 of Tucson’s favorite casual restaurants with a self-guided Taco Tour, curated by Andi Berlin from This Is Tucson. Sonoran Restaurant Week hopes to build community between diners and restaurants, support the local food scene, and continue the good work of food festivals in Tucson.
What’s even better? Your participation helps support the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona, providing food assistance to thousands of your neighbors across the region.
