“Hi friends, my name is Gabby. I am a gentle 5-year-old girl who is a complete love bug! I will gladly follow you around the house and give out lots of doggie kisses. My favorite place to be is next to you which makes me the perfect binge watching partner. When I am not napping I enjoy getting massages and belly rubs. I am very photogenic girl who has been featured in many HSSA promotions and media appearances including KVOA, The Explorer, Arizona Daily Star, The Tucson Dog Magazine, 104.1 KQTH, and 93.7 KRQ. I have even made live TV appearances on Fox 11 Daybreak, Tucson Morning Blend, and KOLD Noon Notebook.
How is it possible that I have not found my forever families you ask? I have Canine Atopic Dermatitis, more commonly known as allergies. Canine Atopic Dermatitis causes me to have very itchy skin, redness and swelling in my feet along with possible fungal infections in my toenail beds if left untreated. I will need medication, medicated baths, and a special diet that includes vitamin E and fish oil. The costs can add up and that is why many families tend to overlook me. During my stay at HSSA I have made many good friends that have contributed to my ongoing medical care once I go home. At HSSA I am getting the very best care but a shelter is not a home.
Meet me today at HSSA Main Campus at 635 W. Roger Rd. If you have any questions about me, give an adoptions counselor a call at 520-327-6088, ext. 173.” Gabby (855429)
