A man by the name of Tyler Armes claims he played a vital part in the production of hit single "Circles." Post Malone was hit with a lawsuit:
The suit claims that by refusing to give Armes proper credit, the defendants have “prevented Armes from capitalizing on the success of the song in order to further his career in the music industry.” The lawsuit seeks proper credit on “Circles” for Armes, as well as prospective and retroactive royalties, plus other money from the song, based on a percentage to be determined at trial.
Post Malone responded with his own lawsuit claiming that Armes did not contribute in the production of the song.
Post Malone says the lawsuit against him is an age-old story in the industry ... in his suit, Post claims Armes came outta the woodwork, falsely claimed to take credit for the song and demanded unwarranted and unearned windfall profits from the song.
