Tucson, we got some good news!!!! It looks like Tumamoc hill will remain open for now, with masks still being required!
UArizona officials reported the possible closure of Tumamoc Hill a couple of weeks ago, after visitors were not complying with the safety measures.
Those guidelines were put in place to reduce the spread of COVID-19 and officials have since seen an improvement with morning visitors. About 70% of morning visitors have complied with the regulations and have made it possible for Tumamoc to remain open.
Reports also indicate that evening visitors are wearing their mask at a LOWER rate making a future closure possible.
Masks are still required!
