If I was smart enough, I would've been a scientist! They invent the most interesting things, like this..... a new smart bandage that can tell doctors if a wound has healed, without having to be removed.
The smart bandage is equipped with a sensor that can read moisture levels and then transmits that data to an app.
"By providing real-time wireless monitoring, the technology could help doctors better monitor wounds, according to the experts – although it's just a prototype for now. Researchers have not revealed the exact cost of the smart bandage or when it might be commercially available, but said it was 'low cost and disposable', having chosen inexpensive materials for their design."
