Shaboozey's song "A Bar Song (Tipsy)" might be unstoppable.
It's #1 on Billboard's Hot 100 again, and that makes it a total of 17 weeks on top. That's the longest EVER for a song with no accompanying acts. And keep in mind that this is an all-genre chart, too. Super impressive.
Morgan Wallen's song "Last Night" had a total of 16 weeks on top of the chart last year, but now Shaboozey has passed him.
In the history of the Billboard Hot 100, there's only one other song that has had more weeks on top . . . and that’s "Old Town Road" by Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus back in 2019 with 19 weeks.
What do you think? Will "Tipsy" take down the crown?
Shaboozey just posted on his Instagram celebrating the good news. And, he included a snippet of his new song "Good News". The caption reads: "17 weeks at #1 and six Grammy noms. Man, what a hell of a year it's been."
