I LOVE Reading Terminal Market. When I moved to Philly in 2021 it was one of the first places I went. With tons of food options, cool little shops, and great people-watching, what's not to love about this tourist spot? I'll tell you - crowds. If you are like me, going on a weekend could bring out the dormant claustrophobia in any of us. The droves of people swarming the establishment to take advantage of it's many amazing offerings is no surprise, but if you are looking to avoid all of that for a similar (But scaled down) experience head over to Chestnut Hill.
Market at the Fareway is a great spot to enjoy all the things it's Center-City counterpart has to offer, it's simply more manageable. Bonus points if you live closer to Chestnut Hill than CC.
