This story has kinda been dragged way too long, which is why some think this Will Smith apology is a day late and a buck short. Chris Rock definitely wasn't feeling it, he actually responded to Will Smith's 6 minute apology during one of his live shows, saying:
“If everybody claims to be a victim, then nobody will hear the real victims. Even me getting smacked by Suge Smith,” Rock quipped. (He's referencing Marion “Suge” Knight, by the way, co-founder of Death Row Records who is currently serving 28 years in prison.) “I went to work the next day, I got kids.”
