A new term has been popping up online: "Winter Coating" . . . and it doesn't have anything to do with snow, or those extra pounds you're going to be putting on to keep yourself warm
"Winter coating" is when an ex comes back into your life for the holidays . . . maybe to hit up some parties together, or just to hibernate and Netflix-and-chill . . . only to be gone again once spring arrives.
As for the name "winter coating," the idea is that it's like you're breaking out a winter coat again . . . only to put it away once it warms up.
